Blame it on the rollercoasters

Not to pat myself on the back, but I've been so good with this NaBloPoMo thing so far. Until yesterday. Traveling for work + blogging = difficult. Especially when the work travel involves rollercoasters.

Maybe it was that the spinning and the steep drops messed with my head. Maybe it didn't help that I rode the same rollercoaster 3 times in a row. But I forgot to blog when I got home last night. I'm sorry. I will make it up by blogging twice today. Once from Orlando, where I'm at a debt conference, and once from home.

All I know is I was definitely not myself last night. I'm mostly German. I follow rules. I listen when people tell me what I can and cannot do. But when the nice man working on The Mummy, the ride, asked me to go outside and walk through the entire line again when there was no one waiting, I looked at him like he was nuts. (I maintain that it was a silly request.) And when I kept walking toward the door that would lead me to the front of the line while he said "No, no, no!," apparently I just kept walking and said "yes, yes, yes." Rules be damned. I was crazy last night.

At least as crazy as I get. :)

  1. Wow. So you're saying your conference is in Vietnam, eh? No rules, watching your best friend turned into a pile of goo, etc? Sounds pretty rough.
