More vacation recap

I've been working on photos while watching the election results, so I offer you only a couple photos today from day two of our trip.

After arriving in Sydney and getting the lay of the land from atop the Harbour Bridge, Alex and I flew to Cairns, which apparently the locals pronounce "Cans," to see the rainforest along the coast and the Great Barrier Reef beyond it.

So from the rainforest, I bring you Alex and I in the skyrail (a picture I swiped with my camera because I was unwilling to buy it):
